Dogs make some of the best pets for children. They’re playful and full of energy – the perfect thing for kids with worn out parents. I’ve heard that golden retrievers are great for families. My personal favorites are bulldogs, miniature dobermans and little miniature teacup poodles. I also know people who have enjoyed pet ferrets, iguanas and other Weird Pets.
